Before you even say it, Laura already knows what you need. She has an eye for every single student and instantly picks up on the vibe. Burnt sauce, too many deadlines or a full-on “YES, we did it!” moment: Laura feels it all with you. With hobbies like embroidery and puzzling, she calls herself the grandma of the coaches. But don’t be fooled: at events with her Upkotters, she always goes full throttle.

Campus Upkot is literally situated on the HELHa campus in Bergen. Want to roll out of bed just ten minutes before class starts? At Campus Upkot, you can. That unique location makes all the difference: you live, study and socialise all in one place, right at the heart of student life.
Campus Upkot has cosy kitchens and chill-out rooms on every floor. The building also features a secure bicycle storage area, a laundry room, a study café and even a large, sunny terrace. You can also relax in the large courtyard garden at Campus Upkot.

There’s a bus stop right at the entrance to Campus Upkot. It takes 16 minutes to get to Bergen railway station, and you can reach the town centre in just 6 minutes by bus. Prefer to cycle? It takes about 11 minutes to get to the town centre and 18 minutes to the station.
The Upkot Coach is responsible for the social activities organised in the building. Many public holidays are celebrated at Upkot, for example. Think of: a lovely Christmas market, a visit from Sinterklaas, a welcome drink with all the students, etc. In addition, the coach also organises smaller, fun activities for the students throughout the year. Feel free to plan your own activities or organise something fun with your flatmates.
