Ybe’s battery is always at 100%. Her energy boosters? Pole dancing, hip hop, dance workouts... Anything that involves dancing. But also: bringing students together. Food breaks during exams, kitchen parties, game nights… And then watching Upkotters grow closer – with each other and with her. That’s Ybe doing coaching with honours.

Why choose Upkot for student accommodation in Kortrijk?
Kortrijk Upkot is more of a small-scale student project and a home for 46 students. It is also a former Citroën garage, which has now been transformed into a cosy student house with a pleasant city garden.
Kortrijk Upkot has cosy kitchens and chillrooms on every floor. The building also has a secure bike shed and a large, green garden. Finally, there’s even a snooker table and a table tennis table in the building. What more could a student want?
No, Kortrijk Upkot doesn’t have its own study room or study café. But the shared kitchens and chillrooms are perfect for studying together.
The following campuses are within walking and/or cycling distance of Kortrijk Upkot:
- Howest The Level: 0.2km
- Howest - Campus Kortrijk Weide: 0.75km
- KU Leuven - Campus Kulak Kortrijk: 4km
Kortrijk Upkot is within walking distance of the train station and the city centre. There are several bus stops at the train station
The Upkot coach is responsible for the social activities organised in the building. Many public holidays are celebrated at Upkot, for example. Think of: a fun Christmas market, a visit from Sinterklaas, a welcome drink with all the students, etc. In addition, the coach also organises smaller, fun activities for the students throughout the year. Feel free to plan your own activities or organise something fun with your housemates.
